This mini documentary tells the story of Claudia who returns to Chile with her father, Rafael. He was a bodyguard for Chile’s former president Salvador Allende who was ousted in a military coup by Augusto Pinochet in 1973. President Allende was killed in the coup, but a twist of fate spared Rafael and he moved to Canada with his young family.

This show was part of a series called The Journey Home, produced by Great North Productions, for broadcast on History Television and Life Network (Slice).
