what’s in a name?

Journeymen practice their craft with proven skill and a solid work ethic.

The word originally comes from the French, journée, describing a person hired for a day’s work. Today it can describe fishermen, carpenters or hockey players. Someone who can haul the fish. Someone who can make things plumb, square and beautiful. Someone who’s not afraid to go into the corners and come up with the puck.

The name journeyman also suggests travel, curiosity and new horizons.

These values find their way into our projects. We give our clients a day’s work and more.
