A journeyman practices his or her craft with proven skill and a solid work ethic.
The word comes from the French, journée, and its original meaning described a person hired for a day’s work. It describes fishermen, carpenters or hockey players. Someone who can get the catch, or make things plumb, square and beautiful. Someone who’s not afraid to go into the corners and come up with the puck.
The name journeyman also suggests travel and curiosity. We love getting out and meeting new people, seeing new things – around our province and around the world.
We take the journeyman approach to our projects. We’ll give our clients a day’s work and more.
