Journeyman Film Company, like many small companies, started with one person. Mathew Welsh’s roots in production go back to 1986, working as a bilingual PA on “corporate videos.” Between 1995 and 2006, he established a career creating documentary films and current affairs content for television, winning a Gemini Award for best documentary with Breakaway. Having honed his storytelling skills over a decade, he then decided to shift focus and build a company that helps clients tell their stories.
Today, the team at Journeyman creates content with a purpose. We’re a company that connects evolving communication needs and trends with the talent pool that can make it happen. We’re evolving too, as we add to our core video production business to offer media-rich e-learning development, along with communication planning and strategy.
